Ellen Janice "Jan" Beach

Jan was born August 12, 1939 in Blythe, California, to Edith Marie and William E. Fergerson. She married Norman E. Beach in Amarillo on December 31, 1958. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church, where she was in the Love Class, which was extremely important to her. She enjoyed traveling with her family. She loved going to the mountains. She had a need to see and experience everything she could in life. She was a precious and treasured wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Some would say, people were her passion. She is preceded in death by her father, Daddy Art and her mother, Edith Brown. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Norman Beach; by her daughter, Wendy G. Kite and husband Mike of Amarillo; a granddaughter, Amy Elaine Kite of Amarillo; a special son, Dakova Murff; a special daughter, Juliene Spencer of San Antonio; and special friends, Hoss and Sherry Lynch, and Ina Johnston all of Amarillo.
