Eloise Steinman

Eloise Steinman, 74, of Amarillo, passed away on July 16, 2021 in Amarillo. Memorial services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday July 20, 2021 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2525 Wimberley Rd. Services are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Eloise was born in Amarillo on April 11, 1947 to Richard and Mamie Solomon. She graduated from Amarillo high school and later married her husband, Bill Steinman in Amarillo on October 8, 1965. Eloise was an avid reader, who enjoyed spending her spare time with friends especially in the front yard with her wonderful neighbors. She also liked to attend her exercise class with friends. Among her many hobbies, she enjoyed crafts. Eloise also loved to travel with her husband; her favorite destination was Colorado. She loved and valued her family and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, especially taking them shopping and spoiling them. She was loved by so many and will be missed.

Eloise was preceded in death by her father, Richard Solomon; her husband, Bill Steinman; one sister, Georgene Mott and her husband, Richard; one sister in law, Sue Solomon.

Survivors include her mother, Mamie Solomon of Amarillo; one son, Roger Steinman and wife Shannon of Murphy; one daughter, Sharon Ellman and husband Gregg of Arlington; two brothers, Walter Solomon and wife Mary of Lake Tanglewood and Richard Solomon of Irving; two grandchildren, Brooke and Briana Steinman both of Murphy; survivors also include a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.
