Erica Leigh Williamson

Erica was born on February 22, 1987 in Amarillo to Jim Turner and Bethany Turner McLaughlin. She was raised in Amarillo, where she graduated from Palo Duro High School in 2004. She then attended Amarillo College, where she received her Associate's Degree and Registered Nurse Certification. Erica married the love of her life, Dave Williamson, on January 10, 2015 in Fort Worth. Together they moved to Spearman, where she has worked for Hansford County Hospital as a RN for over 3 years. Erica was known for her dry sense of humor, sassiness and her tell it the way it is personality. She was also known for the love she had for her family and her beloved dogs, but mostly for the numerous selfies she sent to friends and family wearing eclectic hats. She loved bowling with her family and friends, and had an extensive collection of coach purses and Longhorn memorabilia. She loved the Christmas holiday and was always overjoyed to pass out presents to her nieces and nephews. Most of all, her family and friends will always remember the love she showed them. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to LifeGift West Region, 5812 64th Street, Lubbock, Texas 79424. Erica would have also wished that everyone that she loved and cared about would give the gift of life and become an organ donor. She is survived by her husband, Dave Williamson of Spearman; father, Jim Turner and wife Angela; mother, Bethany McLaughlin; sister, Candra Chandler and fiancé, John Clary; step-brother, Dakota Shannon; maternal grandmother, Catherine McLaughlin, all of Amarillo; parents-in-law, Steve and Sue Ellen Williamson of Fort Worth; sister-in-law, Stephanie Williamson of Fort Worth and nieces and nephews, Aliyah Chandler, Dallas Shannon, Luke Shannon, Brianna Splawn, O'Cleta Chandler, Kingsley Clary, Jonathon Chandler, Jovany Chandler and Charlie Clary. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, maternal grandfather and her beloved dog, Luigi.
