Ernestine Judkins

Ernestine Judkins, 84, of Amarillo walked into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, November 8, 2020. Memorial Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive, with Pastor Danny Logan officiating. Ernestine will be available for viewing Wednesday, November 11, 2020, from 10:00 AM — 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Ernestine was born on January 27, 1936, in Borger, TX to Ben and Irene Foster. She married Clyde Judkins, the love of her life in Fairbanks Alaska on June 19, 1956. They would have celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary this past June. Ernestine was a career travel agent, and they enjoyed traveling the world together for many years. She loved to read and solve Jigsaw and crossword puzzles. Ernestine always enjoyed a good Hallmark movie along with a bowl of popcorn. She was a huge George Strait fan, and was a talented cook; Ernestine loved the Lord and was dedicated to his word. She could often be found reading her bible. She loved family and enjoyed sewing their clothes and canning food. Ernestine was always making jellies and keeping her pantry stocked. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clyde Judkins; one son, Jerry Judkins; two sisters, Lorene Leek and Wanda Weiser. Survivors include her two sons, Jim Judkins and John Judkins and his wife Troy; one daughter, Renee Pruett; one daughter-in-law, Debora Judkins; 8 grandchildren, Brittany Pruett, Hillary Pruett-Digman, Stephen Judkins, Krista, Jerad, Virgil Jr., William and Jimmie; 10 great grandchildren; Jayden, Kylie, Zoe, Charlie, Jason, Hunter, Zadie, Hayden, Blayze and Katilyn. Survivors also include a host of additional family members and close friends.
