Ernestine Mullins

Ernestine went to be with the Lord on December 10th peacefully in her daughter's home. God loaned her to us to love and cherish for 81 years and then He called her home. Ernestine was born on December 3rd, 1934 in Vernon, TX. She married the love of her life James "Jimmy" D Mullins Feb. 20th 1952. They were married for 56 years before Jimmy passed away in 2007. She was a loving Christian woman strong in her faith for the Lord. Ernestine worked for Kerr Paper for many years, after leaving Kerr paper, She was a loving house wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She touched and enriched the lives of all that knew her. She is Preceded in death by her husband James D Mullins, her parents Ernest and Oma Curley, Her Brother Ernest Jr Curley, her sister Betty Wright, Her twin sister Morene Keesee. She is Survived by her son Ronnie Mullins and wife Robin from Amarillo, Daughter Rita wells and husband Eddie from Springtown, Tx, Dottie Giles and Husband Marc of Amarillo, Teresa Bichsel of Amarillo, and Randy Dressler of Amarillo, a brother Kenneth Curley of Mabank, Tx, a Sister Lois Green of Amarillo, 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and her beloved pet Tater Tot. The family has requested friends and family to attend a meal after the funeral service, at the MORE Church, 5511 W. Amarillo Blvd.
