Ethel "Pearline" Harris

September 6, 1936 — September 15, 2016

Pearline was born on September 6, 1936 in Selman, OK to Fred and Ilene Shuyler. She married Wilbur Harris on September 18, 1954. She worked as a school secretary and served on the school board in Adrian. There, she also served as the Justice of the Peace for 17 years. They moved to Amarillo in 1977, where Pearline worked as a school teacher for several years. Pearline loved going camping with her family and loved to country western dance with Wilbur. She enjoyed traveling in her RV and listening to many types of music. Most of all, Pearline loved her family and adored her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Wilbur Harris of Amarillo; 3 sons, Kelly Harris and wife Tina of Amarillo, Ersel Harris and wife Maria of Amarillo and Richard Harris and wife Julie of Adrian; 3 daughters, Debbie Kinsey and husband Montee of Vega, Brenda Godbey and husband Jeff of Adrian and Cindy Girty of Amarillo; brother, F.W. Shuyler and wife Ann of Woodward, OK; 17 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Randy Harris and 2 grandsons, Matthew Harris and Brenton Brogden.
