Eugene Alderete

Eugene was born August 6, 1938 in Goliad County, Texas to Benito and Lena Alderete. Eugene was a very giving person that would let you have the shirt off his back if you needed it. He loved watching sports, especially, the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. He was a mechanic by trade, and worked as such at Gene Messer Ford for 17 years. The family wishes to give special thanks to the staffs at BSA Hospice and Jan Werner. He is preceded in death by his parents, Benito Alderete, Sr. and Lena Aragon Alderete; 3 brothers, Joe Alderete, Ignacio Luna, and Benito Alderete, Jr.; as well as 2 sisters, Lois Alderete, and Delma Gonzales. He is survived by his wife: Mary Alderete; his children: Patricia M. "Peaches" Alderete, Mark D. Alderete, Eugene Gregory Alderete, Regina D. Alderete, Jamie D. Alderete, David and Lori Sauceda, and Teri Hernandez; his brother: Louis Luna; his sister: Stella Andrada; 21 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
