Evelyn Leona Lewis

Evelyn was born on January 18, 1929 in Amarillo to Bert and Elizabeth Clark. She attended Amarillo High School, graduating in 1946. She worked for C&B Printing as a secretary for over 20 years, retiring in 1991. Evelyn married Hubert Lewis in 1965. The two of them enjoyed many trips to their summer home in Colorado as well as square and round dancing as members of Pairs & Squares dancing group. Evelyn enjoyed playing Bingo and has been a devoted member of First Baptist Church since the 1960's. She is survived by her husband, Hubert Lewis of Amarillo; son, Kevin Thompson and wife Imelda of Amarillo; grandson, Ryan Thompson of Amarillo; brother, Audean Clark of Amarillo and sister, Pauline Maqouyrk of Atlanta, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Hubert Clark.
