Faris "Wayne" Roberts

Wayne was born October 20, 1939, in Clayton, NM to Surry Odell and Laura Elizabeth Roberts. He was a 1957 graduate of Amarillo High School. A painter by trade for many years, Wayne, also enjoyed golfing. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend whom was loved by his Lord and Savior. Wayne was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan, and had achieved his certification as a life master bridge player. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Larry Odell Roberts, his first wife, Jan Roberts and a son, Kurry Haron Roberts. He is survived by 4 children: Kelly Wayne Roberts of Florida, Danny Kris Roberts and Michiel Kirk Roberts both of Amarillo, Amie Marie Morgan of Minnesota; 8 grandchildren: Kaitlin Mosley and husband Matthew of Amarillo, Blake Roberts of Borger, Michiel Kirk Roberts II, Donovan Roberts, Kayle Roberts all of Amarillo, Kiernan Morgan of Minnesota, Destiny England, and Anthony Roberts both of Amarillo; 3 great grandchildren; brother: Ronnie Roberts and wife Donna Kaye of Broken Arrow, OK; sister: Leslye Joann Stark and husband Steve of Valencia, CA; sister-in-law: Glenda Roberts of Amarillo; 2nd wife: Rebecca Vining of Tennessee; and a special friend: Maryann Jeffries of Pennsylvania.
