Faye Cox

Faye Cox, 73, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, August 15, 2018. Services will be held in Kentucky at a later time. Faye was born October 23, 1944 in Eastview, Kentucky to William and Inez Cox. She graduated from Lynnvale High School in White Mills, KY. She drove a truck over the road for many years, retiring in 2005. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing bingo. She loved animals, especially cats. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her. Faye was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Donald Hester; a daughter, Akema Ruppert; and three brothers, Shelby Cox, William Cox, Jr., and Kenneth Cox. Survivors include two sons, Larry Hester and wife Brenda of Leitchfield, KY, and Kendall Hester and wife Stephanie of Cecilia, KY; a brother, Jerry Cox of Big Clifly, KY; four sisters, Virginia Barnes of London, KY, Wanda Damron and husband David of Williamsburg, KY, Carolyn Keown and husband Dean of Gaffney, SC, and Robin Mattingly of Clarkson, KY; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
