Elaine was born July 13, 1952 in Amarillo. She graduated from Tascosa High School. She earned her associate degree from Amarillo College in 1972, as a registered nurse. She married Robert Murry on December 10, 1983 in Amarillo. She worked many places over her long career as an RN, including St. Anthony's Hospital, Northwest Texas Hospital, BSA Hospital, and Plum Creek Specialty Hospital. Most recently, she had been working as a traveling nurse. Elaine enjoyed going to baseball games, and had season tickets to the Amarillo Dillas and Sox. She was also a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys. She loved to cook, and adored her dog, Sandie. Elaine supported our troops by sending care packages regularly. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
