Frank Dobbins

Frank H. Dobbins, 84, of Amarillo passed away on Friday, March 30, 2018. Graveside Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 2, 2018 at Llano Cemetery with full military honors. Frank was born on April 4, 1933 in Coleman County to J.D. and Estelle Dobbins. He was raised in San Angelo along with his 6 siblings. He proudly enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he proudly served for over 20 years. He worked in the personnel department until his honorable discharge. Frank married Margaret Miller on July 17, 1953. She preceded him in death on July 16, 2004. Upon his discharge, Frank began his career in maintenance and heating, working for many apartment complexes throughout Amarillo. He was known as a devoted and hard-working husband, father and grandfather. Frank is survived by his son, Stanley Dobbins and wife Kay of Amarillo; 3 sisters, Eleanor Alexander of Nederland, Johnnie Alexander of Weatherford and Billie Mata of Nederland; granddaughter, Kayla Monschke and husband Jeff of Sanger and 3 great grandchildren, Adrianna Dobbins, Aleah Dobbins and Lily Monschke. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William Dobbins; 2 sisters, Judy Alexander and Ruth Adams; wife, Margaret Dobbins; son, Steve Dobbins and grandson, Matthew Dobbins.
