Gary Wayne Cobb

Gary was born on June 18, 1952 in Amarillo to Earnest Jr. and Dolores Cobb. He was raised here in Amarillo, where he graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1970. He then enlisted in the United States Navy where he served until his honorable discharge in 1978. Gary worked for the Post Office as a carrier for a couple years. He married Kathy Bridges on June 15, 2002. Gary loved working in his yard, was an avid Dale Earnhardt and die hard Dallas Cowboys fan and was always willing to help a friend in need. He was a loving husband, father and a friend. He was a member of the VFW, the American Legion He is survived by his wife, Kathy Cobb of Amarillo; 4 sons, Sean Cobb and partner, Melissa of San Antonio, Duane Cobb and wife Jessica of Killeen, Adam Cobb and Sylvia of Brownsville and Tim Blackburn of Amarillo; daughter, Jennifer Hutson of Amarillo; 13 grandchildren and his 2 beloved dogs, Chloe and Earnie. He was preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law, Myrtle Bridges and his faithful companion, Pirana.
