Gay Fincher

Gladore "Gay" (Wilson) Fincher was born April 17, 1942 to Theodore and Gladys (Poff) Wilson. She entered her eternal home on July 15, 2018 at the age of 76. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday at Hillside Christian Church- West Campus, 6100 S. Soncy, with Pastor Rob Attaway officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Viewing will be Tuesday and Wednesday at the funeral home. Gay was raised on a farm near Elk City OK, the oldest of three children. She married Larry Fincher in December, 1958. She graduated with honors from Sayre Junior College and spent her life dedicated to raising her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Gay was a disciple of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and a member of Hillside Christian Church. Gay is survived by her husband of 59 years, Larry Fincher; two children, Gayla Jackson and husband Kenny, and Darren Fincher and wife Lori all of Amarillo; four grandchildren, Alexa (Jackson) Gowdy & husband Will, Jarrett Jackson & wife Brittany, Bailey (Fincher) Kelley & husband Brady, and Jaci Fincher, all of Amarillo; a brother, Johnny Wilson and wife Beth of Tulsa, OK; a sister, Darlene Demuth & husband Dave of Tulsa, OK; and many special relatives and friends. The family would like to thank Magen Tonkovic for her special care of Gay.
