Geneva Love Morris

Geneva was born August 21, 1919 in Wellington, Texas to Robert and Vista Terry White. She graduated from Roswell High School in 1938 and on June 22 of the same year, she married Voy Lee "Sec" Morris. Together they had three daughters, Joyce Ann, Shirley and Janet. On September 28, 1971, Mr. Morris passed away and Geneva went back to school at El Paso Community College, earning her LVN license in 1973. She worked at R.E. Thomason General Hospital in El Paso, TX, until she retired in 1987 and moved to Amarillo. During retirement she enjoyed stamp collecting, playing dominoes and rocking babies. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, V.L. "Sec" Morris, two daughters, Shirley A. Brock and Janet D. Partain, and two brothers, Robert "Bob" White, Jr. and Sam White. She will be remembered as a wonderful, loving, generous woman, who impacted everyone she came in contact with. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Ann Mills, her grandchildren Ray, Jay & Clay Mills, Wade & Dan Brock, Donna Craven, Ramona Moore & John Michael Anguiano, 13 great grandchildren Taylor A., Kylie, Cole, Blake, Amy, Allison, Emily, Taylor B., Zack, Brianna, Hunter, Sasha and Aisha. 3 great great grandchildren Tessa, Ian and Addalyn, a brother, Joe Hunter "Putt" White and a sister, Peggy Sultemeier, and numerous nieces and nephews.
