Geraldine "Jeri" Osborne

Geraldine “Jeri” Osborne, 83, of Amarillo, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home Chapel, 4180 Canyon Drive. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 14200 Texas Plains Trl, I-27.

Jeri was born November 6, 1937 in Arbyrd, Missouri to Earl and Glendola Hogland. She graduated from high school in Cardwell Missouri. She has lived in Amarillo since 1974. She worked for Ponca Wholesale, and Coldwell Banker Realty. After her retirement, she worked part-time for Schooler-Gordon Funeral Home. In her spare time, Jeri loved to dance. She enjoyed square dancing, and taught country and western dancing at Amarillo College. She was an excellent cook, and enjoyed going camping. She loved spending time with her grandkids. Jeri loved Christmas time, and would watch Christmas movies all year round. She will be dearly miss by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Osborne; husband Lawrence Floyd; son, Gary Lynn Fry; and sister, Betty June Roberts.

Survivors include her son, Kevin Osborne and wife Misty of Amarillo; a brother, Larry Hogland and wife Carol of Phoenix, AZ; seven grandchildren, Chelsea Kenney and husband Jason, Kolby Osborne, Tagan Smith and husband Justin, Tanner Fry, Nichole Sanders and husband Bobby, Justin Criddle and wife Kim, and Brentney Taylor; and 13 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
