Gina "Mimi" Hudson

Gina “Mimi” Hudson, 73, of Amarillo, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at Trinity Fellowship Church, West Auditorium, 5000 Hollywood Road with Errol Hainer officiating.

Gina was born April 10, 1949 in Memphis, Texas to Mark and Mary Lamkin. She graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1967. She married the love of her life, Floyd Hudson on June 24, 1971 in Amarillo, and they celebrated 51 years of marriage last month. Gina was a loving homemaker and later earned her real estate broker license and worked alongside Floyd running their business. Gina dedicated her whole life to caring for her family. Family was everything to Gina; she enjoyed golf, tennis, camping and skiing with her family. She loved life and she adored her grandson, Hudson. She lived to see Hudson play baseball. Gina truly lived her life to the fullest. She took each day by storm and conquered it until the wee hours of the morning. Gina and Floyd were lifelong members of Trinity Fellowship Church.

Gina was preceded in death by her parents; and her daughter, Mindy Bilodeau.

Survivors include her husband, Floyd Hudson; her grandson, Hudson Bilodeau; her son-in-law, Daniel Bilodeau of Amarillo; her sister, Tina Underwood of Amarillo; three nieces, Marka Stephens of Amarillo, Tonya Walker and husband Patrick of Maryville, TN, and Kim Harrison and husband David of San Antonio; three nephews, Hagan Hudson and wife Jana of Canyon, Haynes Hudson and wife Michelle of Murphy, TX, and Shane Moore and wife Nicole of Amarillo; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
