Guadalupe S. Cox

Guadalupe Cox, 87, of Amarillo, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 6, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Saturday at New Testament Christian Church, 1502 SE 8th Ave. with Pastor Mark Cobb officiating. Guadalupe was born February 14, 1932 in Los Angeles, California. She married Norman Cox in 1961. They shared 42 years of marriage until his passing. She moved to Amarillo from California in 2013. In her spare time, Guadalupe enjoyed doing crochet, and spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids. She was a member of New Testament Christian Church. Guadalupe was preceded in death by two children, Virginia Lechuga Saucedo and Steve Cox. Survivors include two daughters, Cynthia Davis and Margaret Loera; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
