Henry Harold Swafford

Harold was born on August 7, 1928 to John Henry and Fannie Bell Swafford in Amarillo, Texas. He Passed away on September 29, 2015 in Lake Kiowa, Texas. He graduated from Amarillo High School 1947 before his attendance at Amarillo College. Harold married Imogene "Tony" Swafford on August 7, 1954. She preceded him in death on July 12, 2015. He worked for Santa Fe Railroad from 1946 until his retirement. He served on the board of directors for Santa Fe Federal Credit Union of almost 50 years. He is a past officer and member of Transportation Communications Union/IAM for over 60 years and was a member of First Baptist Church in Amarillo, Texas. Harold loved working with his hands with is son in the Landscape business. His passion was working on cars and an avid race car fan. He is survived by his son Mark Henry Swafford of Lake Kiowa, Texas, grandson Jonathan Henry Swafford of Fort Worth, Texas, granddaughter Kaelyn Marie Swafford of Lake Kiowa, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Imogene "Tony" Swafford.
