Mr. Bural was born on February 13, 1931 in Seagraves, Tx. to Herbert and Edythe Bural. He moved to Amarillo as a child, where he graduated from Amarillo High School. He married LaVaughn Harris in 1950, and worked in the family upholstery and furniture business. He became an apprentice printer at Russell Stationery while attending Amarillo College. He was CEO for Southwest Offset Printing Company for many years and also enjoyed association with many community service organizations including Lions Club. He and LaVaughn were members of San Jacinto United Methodist Church, where he was a member of Methodist Men, led Sunday school and youth groups, was president of Trustees, and Chairman of the Board. Mr. Bural devoted much of his time to serving others. He drove the church bus to pick up children for Sunday school, coached softball and baseball teams, and served on a Grand Jury for 5 years, to name a few. As San Jacinto United Methodist Church transitioned to be known as Covenant Fellowship Church, he transported refugees for ESL lessons. In his free time, he was an avid fisherman and enjoyed many trips with family to Monument Lake. He was a very beloved man.
He is survived by his wife, LaVaughn Bural of Amarillo; daughter, Vonnie McClung and husband Ron of Garland; daughter, Cindi Zermeno and husband Eddie of Choctaw, OK; son, David Bural and wife Kay of Sachse; 2 brothers, Gene Bural and wife Judabeth of Amarillo and Lynn Bural and wife Deanna of Colleyville; 13 grandchildren: Devin Ervin, Scott and Jeffrey Yates, and Shawn McClung; Tyson, Adams, Thomas, and Aspen Zermeno; Travis, Kaylee, Kristin, Grant and Karoline Bural; as well as 13 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and an aunt. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Covenant Fellowship Church.
