Hollie Jean (Robison) Green

Hollie Jean Green, 95, of Amarillo passed away April 12, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday April 15, 2023 at West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Borger, 8745 Highway 136, Borger TX. The family will be accepting friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Friday April 14, 2023 at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.

Hollie was born on December 6, 1927 in Durant, OK to Charles and Avos Robison. She was one of six children. Hollie attended Bennington High School. She met and married the love of her life Varnum Green in 1944. Together they celebrated 52 years before his passing. Hollie was an exceptional cook, her specialty was her famous fried pies. She loved to host her family for meals and bringing out her fine china and crystal dishes. Hollie had a giving heart, she was always welcoming and encouraging her loved ones. She was always dressed to the 9’s, from her hats, to her shoes. Hollie loved her family fiercely, always being there for them. She was involved with her family as when she made the floral arrangements for her daughter’s and grandchildren’s weddings. Hollie was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

Hollie was preceded in death by her parents; her four brothers; Clovis, Charlie, Cobb and Troy Robison; her sister, Zelda; her three sons; Randy, Ronny and Ricky; her loving husband Varnum.

Survivors include her daughter Revice Ruppanner and husband Jim of Amarillo; her son Rudy Green of Bennington, OK; many grandchildren; several great grandchildren; a few great-great grandchildren. Survivors also include a host of other family members.
