Howard "Loye" Sanders

Loye was born May 28, 1929 in Coleman to Hugh and Birdie Sanders. He graduated from Coleman High School. He moved to Amarillo after high school. He married Ruth Savenko on December 20, 1963. Loye worked for Texas Coffin Co. for over 30 years. He was a carpenter, as well as a very talented musician. He enjoyed playing guitar and keyboards. He was a member of Comanche Trail Church of Christ. He is preceded in death by his parents; and two sons, Steve Morris, and Kerry Savenko. His survivors include his wife, Eleanor Ruth Sanders; two daughters, Charlotte Cascio and husband Roy of Shreveport, LA, and Kathy Vines and husband Abel Hernandez of Lubbock; one son, John Savenko and wife Carol of Amarillo; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
