Hubert Earl Teague Jr

Hubert Earl “Sonny” Teague JR, 66, of Amarillo passed away April 25, 2022. Graveside service will be Friday, May 20, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Llano Cemetery, with Buddy Young officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Sonny was born May 19, 1955 to Hubert Earl Teague, Sr. and Frances Teague in Artesia, California. He grew up in Amarillo, TX and graduated from Caprock High School. He was very adventurous throughout his careers, from working on the rail road to starting a restaurant with his brother Ted.

He is preceded in death by his parents; step-father Rex Harris; and his brother Ted Teague.

Survivors include two sons, Trent Teague of Carrollton, TX; Trey Teague of Texas; one daughter Jessica Ornelas and husband Jason of Bushland, TX; two sisters Theresa Garvin and husband John of Houston, TX; Nancy Henderson and husband Rick of Lazare, TX; three grandchildren; and girlfriend Donna Tucker Garcia of Amarillo, TX.
