Inez Davis Shirley

Inez was born September 9, 1917, in Beckham County, OK to Levi Henry Davis and Mae Letha Jarnagin Davis. She married Murl W. Shirley in Beckham County, OK on September 18, 1936. They moved to Borger in 1942 and lived there until 1996, when she moved to Amarillo. Inez was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Murl W. Shirley in 1994, her son Donald Gene Shirley in April, 1997, her daughter, Sharon Kay Shirley Argo in May, 2009, her brother Frank Davis, and her sister, Freda Lynn. She is survived by her son-in-law Gary Argo, her daughter-in-law Cathy Shirley, five grandsons, Shane Argo, Aaron Argo, Larry Argo, Mike Shirley, and Scott Shirley; 4 great-grandsons; 7 great granddaughters, and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hillside Heights and BSA Hospice of the Southwest for their care of Ms. Shirley.
