Ira Belle (Mcfadden) Simpson

Ira Belle Simpson, “Lolly” 89, of Amarillo, passed away on August 23, 2021 in Amarillo. No services are scheduled at this time. Services are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral home.

Ira was born July 22, 1932 in Seagoville to William and Mamie McFadden. She loved her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren and spoiling them as much as she could. Lolly enjoyed crocheting and embroidery in her spare time. She was an avid NASCAR fan and a huge Texas Rangers Fan. Lolly loved watching the game of baseball whenever she had the time.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Chester Simpson; one sister, Dean Hibbard; one brother James McFadden; one granddaughter, Tomi Lanham; one daughter in law, Diana Simpson.

Survivors include two sons, Stanley Simpson and Rodney Simpson (Kala); one daughter, Trish Lanham all of Amarillo; two sisters, Louise Tomlin and Gwen Rodriguez; 6 grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren; daughter by heart, Chandra Larrance also of Amarillo.
