Isabel J. Rivera

Isabel J. Rivera, 88, of Amarillo, passed away on March 27, 2024. Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Isabel was born on February 16, 1936 in Puerto Rico to Antonio and Amalia Jimenez. She was a dancer for many years and loved to sing and play the guitar. Isabel was a part of the San Antonio Parade and was active in show business in Las Vegas. She was loved by many and will be missed.

Isabel was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, David and Ector.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary Hernandez; one son, Hector Mireles; two sisters, Elena Ayala and Juanita Herrera; five granddaughters, Elaine, Luciana, Angelina, Nina and Heather; two grandsons, Bryan and Christopher; three great granddaughters, Shelby, Tatiana, Alyssa and Julia; three great grandsons, Jake, Alexander and Sean. Survivors also include her two great-great grandsons.
