Jack Dwight Lowe

Jack was born November 29, 1926 in Erick, Oklahoma to Maggie and Carrie Lowe. He served his country in the army during the Korean Conflict and was of the Church of Christ faith. He spent most of his life in Borger, where he was a machinist with Phillips Petroleum for 38 years. He was a mason and a member of the Elks Lodge. In his spare time, he enjoyed piddling and tinkering in his garage. He also enjoyed western swing music. He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Carrol Shaver, three brothers, Bill, Leonard and Bud, and by a sister, Maranita. Jack is survived by his children, Dale Lowe and wife Donna of Amarillo, Gail Tate and husband Johnny of Littleton, CO; 6 granddaughters, Lynn Shaver Logsdon and husband Lance, Pamela Tate Long and husband Aaron, Sharon Tate Moncrief and husband Darren, Susan Tate, Lynzee Lowe Oden and husband Justin, and his special granddaughter, Melissa Lowe; ten great grandchildren, Kasey Logsdon Barker and husband Tray, Rowdy Logsdon, Austin Long, Lauren Moncrief, Morgan Moncrief, Justin Moncrief, Christian Oden, Peyton Oden, Declan Oden, Jolee Oden; one great great granddaughter, Ashton Barker; his brother, Robert Lowe and wife Connie of Holiday, FL; as well as several nieces and nephews. The family suggest memorials be to Christian Relief Fund, 1501 SW 58th Ave., Amarillo, TX 79110 or the charity of one's choosing.
