Jacqueline Arline Caldwell

Jacqueline Arline Caldwell (née Caskey), age 95, passed away on July 16, 2026.

Jackie was born on January 19, 1931, in Palestine, Texas, to Orvil Mason Caskey and Ann Lee Caskey (née Young). An only child, she was raised with the values of faith, perseverance, and kindness that would guide her throughout her life.

On April 15, 1949, she married the love of her life, Boley Harvey Caldwell, in Rockwall, Texas. As the wife of a career United States Army soldier, Jackie embraced the unique challenges and adventures of military life. Together they were stationed around the world, creating a home wherever the Army called them while raising their family.

Following Boley's retirement from military service, the couple settled in Mesquite, Texas. There, Jackie continued her life of service by becoming a secretary for the Methodist Church, where she faithfully supported the ministry and the congregation. Her Christian faith was the foundation of her life. She was devoted to God and found great joy in serving others, especially through mission work and charitable giving. She believed that faith was best expressed through love, compassion, and helping those in need.

Jackie was the devoted mother of five children: Cathy Lynn Powers (née Caldwell), Michael Alexander Caldwell, Patrick Harvey Caldwell, Timothy Mason Caldwell, and Mark William Caldwell. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Boley Harvey Caldwell, and her son, Michael Alexander Caldwell.

She is lovingly survived by her children, 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward the legacy of her faith, strength, and love.

Jackie will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family, her steadfast faith, and her generous spirit. Whether supporting her husband throughout his military career, serving her church, or reaching out to those in need, she lived a life defined by grace, humility, and service. Her example will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know and love her.

Her family finds comfort in knowing that she has entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior and has been reunited with her beloved husband and son. Her memory will forever be treasured, and her legacy of faith and love will live on through the generations she leaves behind.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the missions ministry of St. Stephen Methodist Church or to the Wounded Warrior Project, causes that reflect Jackie's lifelong commitment to serving others and honoring those who served our country.

A memorial service celebrating Jackie's life will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen Methodist Church in Amarillo, Texas. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband at Restland Memorial Cemetery in Dallas, Texas, on Saturday, August 1, 2026.
