A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2015, at First Presbyterian Church in the Fellowship Center.
Bob was born in Amarillo on December 26, 1945 to William Murray Dunn, Sr. and Opal Clement Dunn. He attended Tascosa High School before joining the Marine Corps and serving two tours in Viet Nam. He married Shirley on March 5, 1971.
Bob worked in restaurant and grocery management and then for the Bureau of Mines in Amarillo. He then transferred to the Bureau of Land Management in Las Vegas, Nevada where he lived for fifteen years. He retired in Las Vegas and moved back to Amarillo in 2012.
Bob enjoyed his family, especially his grandkids, good conversation, fishing and talking college football with his daughter, his dogs, Bella and Lucy, hanging out with and teasing the love of his life, Shirley, and helping people. He loved the Lord very much and lived that out by being the most generous and loving man.
Bob was preceded in death by his mother and father and a brother, William Murray Dunn, Jr.
He is survived by a family who loved him very much: Cara, Camryn, and Bryson Hunt, Shirley Dunn, Craig Van Schepen, and Doug Van Schepen.
A special thank you to Dr. Richard Bechtol and the nursing staff at BSA. Thank you for being so kind to us.
