James David Kendall

James David Kendall was born on April 12, 1967 in Yakima, Washington. Jim went to be with his Heavenly Father on January 14, 2015. He is survived by his four sons: Quinn, Noah, Nathaniel, and Jude Kendall, all of Amarillo; and sisters Kathryn Kendall and Carolyn Kendall. He's the favorite uncle of seven nephews and one niece. He was preceded in death by his father, James David Kendall; mother, Theoda Mary Kendall and sister, Maureen Johnson. Jim was a contagiously joyous and avid outdoorsman, as well as a passionate and creative guitarist and singer-songwriter. He loved to hear, gather and tell stories and had one ready for every occasion. We remember Jim living deeply and sharing generously in the moments of his earthly life. We loved his hearty spirit and robust voice. Jim had mastered laughter and brought us along with him on the way. We miss him immensely and look forward to one day joining him.
