Jan Dempsey

Jan was born September 6, 1945 in Dallas to James and Loy Bryant. She has lived in Amarillo most of her life. She married Jack Dempsey on December 31, 1995. She was a paralegal for Mallett and Wester Law Offices for over 15 years. Jan was a very adventurous person. She loved to cook, especially German food and gumbo. She loved all types of music and was a talented musician. She could play the piano by ear. She loved spending time with her grandkids. Survivors include her husband, Jack Dempsey; her daughter, Jana Goodwin and husband Bryan of Canute, OK; a sister, Beth McBride of Illinois; a brother, James Bryant, Jr. and wife Kerrie of Rockwall; her grandchildren, Jayden Alexander Clark and Alexis Danielle Goodwin of Canute, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.
