Janet Lynn Cooper

Janet Lynn Cooper, 66, of Amarillo, Texas passed away Monday October 21, 2019 at her home. She was born February 8, 1953 to Olen and Patsy Sloan in Amarillo, Texas. She graduated from Fruita Monument High School in Fruita, Colorado.  She attended Amarillo College. On January 6, 1984 Janet married Weldon Cooper in Clovis, New Mexico. Janet was a gold star family member.

She is survived by her husband Weldon Cooper of Amarillo, TX; son Justin Sloan of Amarillo, TX and fiancé Krystle Fenter; daughter Kari Lopez of Amarillo, TX and husband Greg Lopez; daughter Jodie Wolske of Amarillo, TX and husband Tim Wolske; grandchildren T.J. Wolske; Makayla Wolske; Leyna Gilchrist; Brykan Gilchrist; Averie Alexis Sloan; brother Mitchell Sloan of Fruita, Colorado and wife Paula Sloan; and her beloved dog Squirt.

She is preceded in death by her parents Olen Sloan and mother Patsy Morehead Wade and son Troy Dale Cooper.
