Janet Aldora Gerlach

Janet Aldora Gerlach 53 of Amarillo, TX passed away September 04, 2019. She was born Friday April 29, 1966 in Amarillo to Carl E. and Wilma Jean (Keaton) Gerlach. She attended Lamar Elementary, Fannin Junior High, Amarillo High School and Amarillo College. She was married to Terry Jones and Joe Gutierrez.  She worked for Furr’s cafeteria for over 15 years and was a nurse aide. Her hobbies were needle point and American Sign Language. She was a volunteer at the Pinnacle Food Pantry.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl E. and Wilma Jean (Keaton) Gerlach; her husbands, Terry Jones and Joe Gutierrez; and sister, Janice Gerlach.

She is survived by her sister, Brenda Gerlach of Amarillo; son, Daniel Jones of Amarillo; grandchildren, Makayla and Mikkel; step-daughter, Melissa Garrison; nephews, Matthew Vasquez of Amarillo, and Mario Vasquez of Lubbock; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Raymond and Victoria Vasquez of Amarillo; cousins, Cathy Curtis of Ohio, Brian Gerlach of Ohio, Julie Lenord of Ohio, Ed Larson of Colorado, and Daymond Deatrich of Colorado; and her pets, Baxter, her cat, and Brandi, her dog.
