Janet Sue (Locknane) Wilson

Janet Wilson, 70, of Amarillo, passed away on Friday December 17, 2021 at her home. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Monday December 20, 2021 at Family Life Church, 3900 SW 58th Ave with Pastor Robbie Ashlock officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Janet was born on August 9, 1951 in Pueblo, Colorado to Bobbie and Helen Locknane. She was an outdoorswomen at heart and loved to spend time in her garden. Janet enjoyed watering her plants and trees and being in the fresh air. She enjoyed animals, especially her fish and dogs. Janet was a simple and loving women who loved music. She liked Elvis and all the good old country favorites. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.

Survivors include her Husband, James Wilson of the home; five daughters, Missy Madison (Douglas) of Roby, Kathy Murdock (David) of Katy, Glenda Lindsey (Mark) of Rockport, Connie Haynes (John) of Amarillo and Cyndal Ashlock (Danny) of Amarillo; one son, Glen Allen (Misty) of Winnsboro; one step daughter, Ddee Groove of Amarillo; two step sons, Asa Wilson (Gina) of Virginia Beach, VA and Kevan Wilson (Sindy) of Lubbock; twenty four grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren.
