Jeanne Timcisko, 95, Formally of Amarillo passed away on December 20, 2020 in Murphy, Texas. Jeanne will be available for viewing on Monday December 28, 2020 at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be 2:00 PM Tuesday December 29, 2020 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 4100 S Coulter Street with Father John Valdez Officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Jeanne was born on February 20, 1925 in Rochester Pennsylvania to Maude and John Anderson. She married her sweetheart, John Timcisko and they spent 55 wonderful years together. Jeanne was a loving and dedicated mother to all five of her children and she was devoted to them throughout her life. She enjoyed square dancing with her husband when they were young and she was a part of the neighborhood card club for fifty years. During her free time she enjoyed embroidery and ceramics. Jeanne was active in her church and loved Jesus. She loved to bake and her family always remembered the good things that came from their mother’s kitchen. Jeanne was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need; she was a very giving person. Jeanne was a natural care giver; even into her last days Jeanne maintained an upbeat spirit and a good sense of humor. She will be missed. Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Timcisko; one sister, Delores Evans; one granddaughter, Lisa Wadley; one great granddaughter, Tabitha Grubbs; one son in law Steve Wright. Survivors include four daughters, Carol Wadley and husband Ken of Amarillo, Barbara Vandemark and husband Jeff of Murphy, Texas, Cathy Stegall and Regina Wright both of Amarillo; one son, Michael Timcisko and husband Jason Haugen also of Amarillo; eight grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
