Jeff Mixon

Jeff was born in Amarillo, and graduated from Caprock High School. He worked for Zip Dog for almost 25 years. Most recently, he worked for Pine Street Salvage as the supervisor of the precious metals dept. He very much enjoyed this type of work. He even enjoyed collecting and recycling metals as a hobby. Jeff loved music, was passionate about animals, and was an avid fisherman. Survivors include his mother, Barbara Mixon of Phoenix, AZ; two brothers, Craig Mixon of Lucas, TX, and Charles Mixon of Watauga, TX; one sister, Melanie Hernandez and husband Michael of Phoenix, AZ; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Mixon, and two brothers, Brian Mixon and Joe Mixon. The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Amarillo SPCA, PO Box 1014, Amarillo, TX 79105.
