Jerry Wayne Judkins

Jerry Wayne Judkins, 60, of Amarillo, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, July 18, 2020, at Washington Ave. Christian Church, 3800 S. Washington St. with DJ Judkins officiating. Jerry was born July 5, 1960, to Clyde and Ernestine Judkins in Amarillo. He graduated from Canyon High School in 1978. Jerry married his sweetheart, Debora on June 3, 2000, and they spent 20 wonderful years together. Jerry was an avid woodworker and loved being in his shop. His family remembers him as a master craftsman. Jerry was a jack of all trades, always putting passion into whatever he did. Jerry enjoyed playing pool and loved his dogs. He was big on family and friends, and he cared deeply for his nieces, nephews and the children surrounding him. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Clyde James Judkins. Survivors include his wife Debora Judkins of the home; mother, Ernestine Judkins of Amarillo; three step sons, Virgil (Bubba) Smith, William Bartlett, and Jimmie Smith all of Amarillo; two brothers, Jim Judkins, and John Judkins and wife Troy both of Amarillo; one sister, Renee Pruett of Amarillo; three nieces, Brittany Pruett, Hillary Pruett Digman both of Amarillo, and Krista Kennedy of Dallas; two nephews, Stephen Judkins of Amarillo, and Jerad Bryant of Dallas; six grandchildren, Jason, Hunter, Zadie, Blayze, Hayden and Kaytlin; Great nephew, Jayden, and great niece, Kylie.
