Jimmy W. Kemp

Jimmy was born October 13, 1948 in Amarillo to Josephine Juanita and Loyd Haskel Kemp. He graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1967. He married the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Trudy Jones in Amarillo on June 15, 1967. Jimmy was an army veteran of the Vietnam War. After returning home, he received an associate degree in Applied Science from Amarillo College in 1976. Jimmy was retired from the welding and HVAC business. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Ramona Martinez. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Trudy Kemp; his children, Chris Kemp of Northlake, TX, Crystal Moreno and husband Jacob of Amarillo; 2 grandchildren, Valenzuela "Scooter" Moreno and Ahnalea "Skeeter" Moreno; as well as a host of other family and many friends.
