Jo Ann Hudson

Jo Ann was born June 2, 1926 in McLean to Roy and Sallie Lou Campbell. She grew up in McLean, until the family moved to Amarillo during her senior year in high school. She graduated from Amarillo High School. Jo Ann married Pete Hudson, and together, they raised 3 children. She worked at First Bank of the Southwest as a bank teller until she retired. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, as well as the Amarillo Senior Citizen's Line Dancers. Jo Ann was an active member of Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church for over 60 years. She was an avid follower of the Dallas Cowboys, and considered herself their #1 fan. She will be greatly missed. Jo Ann was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Mindy Hudson Bilodeau in 2012. Survivors include two sons, Floyd Hudson and wife Gina, and Roy Hudson and wife Kathy all of Amarillo; a daughter, Sheila Moore and husband Roy of Amarillo; five grandchildren, Kim Harrison, Tonya Walker, Shane Moore, Haynes Hudson, and Hagan Hudson; and 13 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be made to Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church, 316 Valley Ave, Amarillo, TX 79108.
