Joann (Lindsey) Pruitt

Joann Lindsey Pruitt, 79, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025. Joann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Dr. Brian Thomas Pruitt; daughter, Brittain Jill Pruitt, and grandsons, Isaac and Caleb St. Peter; three sisters, Nancy Beaird and husband, Oscar, Tamesha Root and husband, Paul, and Abban Lastovica; sisters-in-law, Marilyn “Mimi” Duncan and husband, Steve, and Luanne Cullen and husband, Jim; aunt, Betty Brittain Jumper; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her beloved cat, Marley.

A long time resident of Amarillo, Joann was involved with the Friends of the Amarillo Public Library and the Amarillo Museum of Art, and was a supporter of Chamber Music Amarillo.
