Joann Thompson

JoAnn Thompson, 79, of Amarillo died Thursday, February 8, 2018. JoAnn was born January 27, 1939 in Amarillo to Jack and Virginia Williams. She married Forrest Lee Thompson in Amarillo on January 28, 1962. He preceded her in death on September 28, 1983. JoAnn was a member of Trinity Fellowship North Campus for the last 5 years. JoAnn's hobbies included reading, watching television, spending time with her family and helping others; especially children at Christmas time. She is survived by a son, Clay Don Thompson; a daughter, Kimberlee Jo Bowers and husband Rod; sister-in-laws, Jo Bryant Pool, Susie Slattery and Reba Patton; granddaughter, Morgan Bowers-Carver; great-grandchildren, Joah and Olivia Carver; 4 nephews and 6 nieces. JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Forrest Thompson; 3 brothers, David Patton, Jackie Williams, and Jimmie Lee Williams.
