John D Long

John D. Long, 85 passed away August 17, 2024. No services are scheduled at this time.

John was born on April 17, 1939 to Cecil and Elizabeth Long in Greenville, Texas. After he attended and graduated high school he proudly enlisted in The United States Navy. John enjoyed golfing. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his four brothers; his three sisters; and his only son.

Survivors include his wife, Sara of the home; a daughter, Sonya Britton and husband Brett of Amarillo; and his granddaughter, Porsha Long of Opelika, Alabama.
