Johnny Gutierrez

Johnny was born on March 15, 1977 in Dumas to John and Annette Gutierrez. He moved to Amarillo in 1989 where he graduated from Amarillo High School. He attended Amarillo College Fire Academy and was a firefighter for over 10 years. Johnny married Megan Comingore on July 11, 2009 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. When Johnny had a hobby, he put in 150%. He loved remote control cars, planes and helicopters; and high performance cars and motorcycles, which included drag racing his blue Mustang. He took many fishing trips with friends and family in fresh and saltwater. Most of all Johnny loved being a husband and a dad to Mallorie. He is survived by his wife, Megan Gutierrez of Amarillo; daughters, unborn baby and Mallorie Elise Gutierrez of Amarillo; father, John Gutierrez of Amarillo; mother, Annette Gutierrez of Amarillo; brother, Jason Gutierrez and life partner, Jay Jay, of Amarillo; grandfathers, Juan Gutierrez of Lawton, OK and Howard "Lucky" Gentry of Merritt Island, FL; and aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him very much.
