Johnny Rogers

Johnny Levon Rogers passed away April 11, 2022 in Amarillo, Texas. He was born July 11, 1939 in Childress, Texas to JD and Jessie Mae Rogers. He married Cheryl the love of his life on August 11, 1961 and together they had four children. He was a hardworking man, who enjoyed long weekends at the lake with his family. He was a man of many words, he said what he meant and meant what he said. He enjoyed fishing and spending time in his garden. He will be missed by all.

He is preceded in death by his wife Cheryl; his parents; granddaughter Julieann Rogers and a sister Pat Gorley.

He is survived by his children: Renee Lichtie and husband Terry; Kandy Heath; Tracy Meyer and Johnny Rogers. Siblings; Jimmy Rogers; Gay Roberts and Becky Langham. Nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
