Johnny Wayne Worley

Johnny was born May 5, 1941 in Gordon, Texas to David and Wanda Worley. He moved to the Amarillo area in 1958. In 1962, he married Lorene Reed. She preceded him in death in 1997. He married Sharon in 1998. She preceded him in death in 2012. Johnny worked as a short-haul truck driver. He owned his own truck and drove over a five state area for Chemical Express. He enjoyed building and racing go-carts. Some of the go-carts he built would run up to 85 mph. In addition to his wives, Johnny was also preceded in death by his sister, Lela Worley. Survivors include his daughter, Rhonda Perry, and husband Justin and her children, Brandon and Summer, all of Amarillo; a step-daughter, Amy Bromely, her husband Mike, and her children, Deah and Ethan, and a step-son, Bill Davis and his children, all of Ark; a sister, Jeanette Bell and husband Dewey; a brother David Worley; and special friend Portia Thurman all of Amarillo.
