Jon Chrystopher "Rex" Davis

Rex Davis, 55 of Amarillo, died Sunday, March 27, 2022. Rex was born August 16, 1966 to Joel and Necla (Nezhla) Davis. Celebration of life services will be held on April 5, 2022 at 4:00 PM at Harvest Connexion Church at 4808 S Bonham.

Rex graduated from Amarillo High School and worked as a lumber and building supplies salesman for Canyon Drive Lumber, AAA Lumber and 84 Lumber.

Rex loved watching his son, Chase ride dirt bikes, cooking out and entertaining friends and family and he loved life and having fun. He was a great father, wonderful brother and amazing friend and he absolutely adored his son, Chase. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Rex was preceded in death by his parents Joel and Necla (Nezhla) Davis of Amarillo.

Survivors include his son, Benjamin Chase Davis and Chase’s mother, Candace Coffey of Amarillo; Sister Theo McGee and husband Shawn of Amarillo; 4 cousins, Haven Murphy and Erica Dinkins both of Michigan, Drew Coffee and wife Debby of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; two nieces Erika McGee and Hope Frame of Amarillo.

The family request memorials to be made to Golden Emmaus and Gracie’s Project.
