Jose "Aj" Perez

Jose "AJ" Perez, 31, of Amarillo, died Monday, November 13, 2017. Funeral services will be 10:00am Saturday at Cox Funeral Home- Benton Chapel, 4180 Canyon Dr. in Amarillo. AJ was born October 27, 1986 in Aguascalientes, Mexico to Ramon Perez, Sr. and Irma Rosales. He graduated from Hereford High School, and attended The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He worked as a loan officer at Access Community Credit Union. AJ loved spending time with his family and enjoyed traveling. His pride and joy were his nephews. AJ had a very charismatic personality, and was a trust worthy and loyal individual who could always be counted on. He was a great son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was greatly loved and will be truly missed. He is survived by his mother, Irma Rosales and husband Aurelio Rodriguez of Amarillo; his father, Ramon Perez, Sr. and wife Maria of Hereford; three brothers, Carlos Perez and wife Ashley, Luis Perez, and Ray Perez, Jr. all of Amarillo; two sisters, Crystal Perez and Jordan Cano of Amarillo, and Jessica Guerra and husband Oscar of Hereford; maternal grandparents, Salvador Rosales and Maria Gabino of Mexico; paternal grandparents, Jose Perez and Enedina Sosa of Mexico; five nephews, Aidan Perez, Jace and Oscar Guerra, Enin and Ezra Cano. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00pm Friday at the funeral home.
