Joseph Copeland

Joseph Michael Copeland 76, of Amarillo passed away November 8, 2022. Graveside service will be held at 11 am on Friday, November 11, 2022. Services are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home. Joseph was born December 12, 1945 in Baytown, Texas to TV and Winzella Copeland. He proudly enlisted in the Army in 1965 and served a tour in Vietnam. After being honorably discharged from the military he went on to further his education by completing his degree in social work and nursing. He enjoyed singing and playing the accordion. He had a beautiful voice. He recorded two music records that won two gold and a silver medal at the National Creative Arts Festival. He enjoyed bowling and watching sports. He was a kind loving man who will be missed by all.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
