Josephine Bette Rader

Josephine "Jo" Bette Rader, 66, of Amarillo died Saturday, April 15th, 2017. Jo was born January 3, 1951, in Amarillo to Sam and Bertha Laubhan. She married Mike Rader on June 29th, 1973. She graduated from WTAMU with a MBA. She was an accountant for Energas and AIG for many years but her passion was antiques and craft shows. Jo had a dynamic personality and was unforgettable to anyone who met her. She was a devoted wife, proud mother, loving MiMi, and a friend to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Kay Laubhan; sister-in-law, Marlene Owensby; father-in-law, Bob Rader; and her beloved daughter, Julie Rader. Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Mike Rader; her son, Michael Rader and wife Jenn; a granddaughter, McKenna; grandsons, Jarrett and Jentry and another to be born; a sister, Marilyn Yanke and husband Clarence; a brother, James Laubhan and wife Denise; mother-in-law Fern Rader; sister-in-law, Mona Myers and husband Wade; brother-in-law, Bruce Rader and wife Gerry; and sister-in-law Marilyn Albert and husband Donnie.
