Joyce Daniels

Joyce June Daniels passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 22, 2018 at San Jacinto Assembly of God Church. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Cox Funeral Home. Joyce was born on July 1, 1933. She was adopted by Henry and Talma Bailey when she was 6 years old. Joyce married Ray Daniels on December 3, 1948. She was a homemaker for all her life and worked at Levi Strauss for about two years, volunteered for many years at Faith City Mission as well as in the church. She taught Sunday School classes and loved the babies in the nursery. When the kids left home she started selling Home Interiors and sold it for about 20 years. She had 6 kids, but the house was always full of stray kids and church family. She loved her garden and watching the birds in the backyard. Joyce was loved by countless family and friends. Joyce and Ray were married for 67 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Daniels, Nathan Evans and Cody Hobbs. She had 6 Children; David and Jeanette Daniels, Dennis and Cindy Daniels, Mike and Debbie Daniels, Teresa and Melvin Morris, Bob and Becky Daniels, Karen and DJ Rogers, Emma Pina. 20 Grandchildren, 33 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
